One thing that Playground has in comparison with ChatGPT is that it has the “speech to text” option, which allows you to upload audio from your computer besides real-time audio.
You also have the model type which will generate the completion, such as “text-DaVinci-003″, “text-curie-001”, “text-babbage-001”, but DaVinci-003 is the most capable model in GPT-3 series.
The better-performing the model type, the more tokens it will take; less advanced models will use fewer tokens.
Now, text-DaVinci-003 can perform any task better than other GPT-3 models with higher-quality and can process up to 4,000 tokens per request.

- Temperature
- Maximum Length
Temperature controls the randoms; if it goes to zero (0), it will generate more repetitive sentences and lines.
Maximum length is essential; it’s about how many tokens you can generate. I’d suggest you to move it to 4000 (maximum length).
Now, you can ask Playground to write you an essay, blog, or article; it will generate fantastic content. But, the difference here between OpenAI playground and ChatGPT is that ChatGPT has more restrictions than OpenAI’s Playground.
